Geoff and I love weekends! One, I love weekends because it means Geoff doesn't have to go to work and two, I'm not home alone all day! I love that we get to do stuff together, even if it is just grocery shopping. Since we are new to Lincoln, all week we research things to do. Last weekend it was the Farmers Market and this weekend well, we didn't really have plans until Friday when Geoff found an auction for us to go check out on Craig's List. They were auctioning off Cars and Bikes at the City Impound lot, and luckily for us, the city impound lot isn't too far from where we live! ;) We were hoping for some sweet deals on bikes since the trail system here is fantastic, but alas, we came away empty handed. Who knew people would be such high bidders?? on bikes?!?! At least we had fun since neither of us had been to an auction and next time we have a plan of attack!

We spent the rest of our Saturday checking out bike shops in the area and just driving around town looking at everything, and had lunch downtown at Pickleman's Cafe. They had tasty pickles. Speaking of food, I have been craving some good Mexican food this week like El Charro's or Maria's so the truck driver at Geoff's work recommended La Paz. Well, La Paz was a major let down. Still in search of a good Mexican place. We ended the night watching Hall Pass which, although raunchy, has a really cute ending.
And today we took Roscoe to his very first Dog Park. There weren't that many other dog's there since it was so hot but he had fun getting to explore off of his leash for a little while. Although, when I hear dog park, I picture a playground for dogs. Ya know, maybe some balls or things to run through. A little disappointed to find out that its pretty much a huge fenced in yard. Does anyone else think this way too? Oh well Roscoe loved it.
