Last night Geoff and I took Roscoe to see the Lincoln Salt Dogs play some ball. When doing our weekly research for things to do on the weekends we found out that every Wednesday is Bark in the Park! So we quickly decided this was a must especially when we found out we could go to the game for less than $10. So we took our blanket, some stuff for Roscoe and went to the ball game. We sat in the First Base "Berm" area which ended up being a pretty nice seat. And luckily last night wasn't extremely hot, we even had a slight breeze and were in the shade. It was your typical Single A league game but having Roscoe there was made it so fun! Plus the Salt Dogs are pretty good, when we left in the 7th inning, they were winning 6-0. Well that or the El Paso Diablos, or as Geoff says the evil chickens, are pretty bad. Here are some pictures of our evening.
Also a little update on the job front for me, I haven't heard an single thing from any of the non-school places I have applied. But I did apply for some para positions with Lincoln Public Schools and I have two interviews on Wednesday. So fingers crossed and knees sore from praying, I hope I get this. I need to get this. I need a job. I need to get out of this house. I need to meet people.
